This service may be insecure.  If security is an issue try down- loading of the GUI freeware available:

• Damaged docx2txt - Damaged docx2txt requires .Net Version 2.
• Corrupt xlsx2csv - Corrupt xlsx2csv requires .Net Version 2
• CorruptOfficeExtractor - a power house gui freeware for recovering data and text from corrupt MS Office 2007 and 2010 format files!
• RepairMyWord - from the RecoverMyFiles people.  Is a text extractor for corrupt doc files and probably does a better job with corrupt MS Word 97-2003 docs than this service or any of the software listed here.
